hi all

is it possible in fluent to increment the value of dispersed phase volume fraction after every 200 time steps and save the data file.the volume fraction has to be incremented from 0.1 to 0.8 with increment value of 0.1.

thanks rashmi

Try the Solve -> Execute commands option. Read the manual to find out how it works.

thanks for ur reply

but how about specifying dispersed phase and continuous phase and their corresponding velocities in fluent when we change the volume fraction.

thanks

You have to change the boundary conditions using a UDF then. Please refer to the UDF manual and figure out how this is done.
