Default unsteady question

I've been working on half of a fuselage, steady calculation. I'm now wishing to do an unsteady calculation on a full fuselage made with a symmetry of the previous half body. Does anybody know if I need to patch a region to start the unsteady phenomena, because I'm afraid that if I don't, I'll get the same result as the steady calculation? If yes, how would you do that?

Thank you for your help
