Boundary Conditions

Hi

I'm trying to setup a UDF in Fluent 6 that changes the boundary type depending on the incident particle condition. I'm looking at particle velocities through a supersonic nozzle using Disrete Phase Modelling. I want to set a boundary condition such that the incident particles are reflected if their velocity is below a threshold velocity, or trapped if they exceed it. Is this possible?

Thanks

Re: Boundary Conditions

Yes, this is possible, and should not be that hard to do either. You will need to write a UDF and use as your DPM boundary condition at the wall. The examples available in the UDF Manual will give you a great hint of how to write it.

Good luck!
