Hello I study about bubble micropump.important mechanism of bubble micropump is explosive boiling.I am quastions about VOF model in FLUENT. Can i simulate explosive boiling in Fluent(VOF,Mixture,Eulerian)? Can i consider phase change in multiphase model ? Can i use UDF to define phase change in interface in VOF model. thanke you.

Is it caviatation? I don't think you can model bubble collapse with fluent, you need mass transfer, compressible gas and pressure waves in the liquid. I think you will have no choice other than udf, did you contact fluent support people
