Default adapting for VOF

anyone knows how to adapt, what to adapt, when to adapt for VOF ship modelling? so as to see the free surface of water clearly? I am using unsteady flow, time step 0.05, Ke model.

is dynamic adapting helpful?

As per the other topic, if you want to do that, just use the geo-reconstruct scheme.
