combustion pressure???

Hi Please how to impose combustion pressure in fluent? is it the operating pressure ? or should I impose it in the inlet boundary conditions ??

thanks for the help

Re: combustion pressure???

If you say that it is "high pressure combustion" then your operating pressure should be high. An inlet pressure generally is more relevant as a driving pressure (say compressor-line loss if you know). Which one of the two do you have depending upon that your input boxes will change!

Re: combustion pressure???

Hi Swarup

I am simulating H2/O2 combustion under 10 bars combustion pressure.

1- when using presumed pdf, should I use 10 bars=10^6 Pa in the operating pressure for prepdf ?, or Should I use the 10 bars under fluent ? or simply, calculate the velocity injection of H2 and O2 ( according to 10 bars) and use velocity inlet BC, and keep 101000 in the operating pressure of fluent ?

Thanks for the help.
