converting a solidworks file into a fluent file
i have a geometry made using solidworks, with .sldasm ext. i dont have any solidworks software so i may not be able to save that in any other format..even if there is any option of doing it.i was able to view the geometry using a solidwork viewer which i downlodaded from net.
any suggestion so that i can generate a mesh from that file by may be openning it in some other softwares. or any suggestions which might help me. thank you rahul |
Re: converting a solidworks file into a fluent fil
you should save the file in parasolid (.x_t) format to export it in to Gambit and mesh it. then u can export this mesh file to FLUENT. regards, madhukar
