multiphase model????!!!!!!!
 
hi, i'm working on a free surface flow;thus i need to know how to create a multiphase model!plz help!!!!

you need to switch on a VOF model. Define/model/multiphase. You have few models there bur for free surfacecases you should chose a VOF model I think.

If you just want to see the motion of the free surface, you can define two phase - one is gas and another is liquid. Enable the multiphase which you want(may VOF or MIXTURE...) In the Define --> Phase, define the gas is the primary and the liquid is the secondary. Adopt what region you want to be the liquid and in the initial, patch the the region for the liquid and the volume is 1.0.

I once do the same problem, you can try it.
