cavitation

Hi All, I am facing mass imbalance problem while modeling cavitation for nozzle... If someone faced similar problem and had remedy for that then let me know

did you turn mass transfer from the liquid to the gas. When the cavitation occurs mass is transfered from the liquid to the gas. But it is also compressed. I guess your mass imbalance comes from there. Are you above "Boile's Temperature" in the bubble?

We could not model cavitation with fluent or you have to add UDFs

Thanks Smith, I presumed that mass transfer will be considered through transport equation.. and I've modeled it incompressible liquid though the supply pressure was extremely high.. Could you please tell me what kind of UDF will be required for this modeling!

Check if cavitation is happening at outlet area. If yes improve the mesh there. Keep aspect ratio below 4-5. Refine the mesh little further.
