I must resolve a 2D-axisymmetric problem. But I cannot handle the meshing of this problem. I have everytime a problem of non positive area in my grid. However, if I transfor the boundrary "Axis" to "Wall", the check is a success. What is the problem please?

Best regards.

In most cases problems with the axysymetric setup are caused by positioning the axis. Go back to your grid generator and check if your axis is EXACTLY on the x-Axis.

place your geometry +X, +Y in Gambit. The axis you rotate that is +x should be made axisymmetry. You will not encouanter any of the difficulties. KP
