porous media drying

Hello, do you think I can modelize a porous media drying (by hot air) thank's to fluent ? If yes, do you have any information about best practices on this kind of simulation?

Thanks in advance

Regards

Yes why not. Some people are doing such thing but they loking at every single micro channel. Meaning that they really draw the porous hole zone one by one. I'm not sure if the porous media in Fluent have any simplified solution but it is worthy to try. It fairly easy just that you need to know the porosity and media resistance.

Hello. I have a problem and I thought you can help me. I want to simulate the underground water flow in a confined aquifer. the geometry, boundery and initial conditions are absoloutely simple.

I developed a CFD code but I need a software such as Fluent to validate my answers. how can I do this with Fluent.

I'm waiting for your answer. Thank you very much. Goodbye.

Hello Livlouille,

I would like to ask wheter you have solved your simulation task somehow. I try to set drying process in Fluent 13.0 but for now without success.
