Hey,
I'm using the VOF model to model small drops of liquid moving through a gas. I'm a bit confused though as how to interpret the different countours when plotting volume fraction. I wish to see the sharp interface gas/liquid but I get several levels of contours. If I plot for only 2 levels some cells containing small ammount of liquid is filtered out. How do I work around this problem? (Is it possible to get a shape at all when the drops are smaller than the computational cells?) Thanks. |

Maybe you should go to "Display". Choose the parameter what you want to show. I remember that we can choose the volume fraction (from 0 to 1), normally the Fluent choose automatically a random volume fraction (for example from 0.99 to 1), so maybe this reason makes you get troubles. If you want every contours displayed, should choose the volume fraction from 0 to 1 or 0.5 to 1.
