Species Partial Pressure or Mole Fraction

Hi Guys,

I am working on a Fuel Cell model and want to know if there is a way to calculate the individual species PARTIAL PRESSURE or MOLE FRACTION in a cell. I am trying to use the DEFINE_SOURCE macro to calculate the Nernst potential (which uses the partial pressures) and the volumetric heat generation thereby.

Is there a way to use the MASS FRACTION to find the Mole fraction of the species..?? Because the Fluent manual has the macro C_YI(cell,thread,i) to access the species mass fraction.

Looking forward to your suggestions.

Thank you

Re: Species Partial Pressure or Mole Fraction

Ideal gas law:

p_i= UNIVERSAL_GAS_CONSTANT*C_T(c,t)*C_R(c,t)*C_YI(c,t, N_i)/Mw_i

p_i = partial pressure, Mw_i = molecular weight of specie i

Thanks RoM, I'll try it out right away.
