Set the boundary condition
 

Hello, everyone. Today I am suddenly confused about the setting of the boundary conditions in FLUENT. For example, I model two-phase flow and set the velocity inlet bounndary of the two phases. Initially, the void fraction of the secondary phase is 0.05. However, after I finish the calculation, I notice that the void fraction at the inletis is only about 0.002, which is much lower than that of the initial boundary condition. Is it reasonable? Why it does not agree with the boundary condition of the inlet? Does it indicate that if I require that the void fraction of the flow at the inlet is 0.05 in the end, I have to set the initial value much higher to face the final requirement? Thanks in advance.
