Best method to setup a basic windtunnel
I have the latest versions of Fluent and Gambit and need to set up a basic windtunnel analysis for a small Cessna sized aircraft. I have questions about the following:
What is the best type of surface/volume mesh for this scenario (external flow of air at about 120-300 mph). Will 2GB of RAM be enough to perform an accurate analysis? Will I experience any loss of accuracy in my results from being over-zealous when cleaning up to model? How would I define my boundary conditions (I have cut the aircraft in half and have a symmetry plane)? Does any one know of any good tutorials that show how to setup a basic windtunnel? Thanks for all the help, Justin |
