Default entrance and exit loss

Hii.. we all aware of entrance and exit loss in the pipes. loss is a function of dynamic velocity. as we have the loss coefficient 1 for entrance and 0.5 for exit.. i am unable to simulate this condition and get the same above values in FLUENT. anyone have idea..please help me out..your help in this regard is highly acknowledged..
