how to model boiling process

hi, i would like to model boiling process of titanium alloys under laser beam in which laser power obeys Gaussian distribution.there is boiling model in FLUENT,but how to define its parameters? my main object is gain boiling results.in other words,i would obtain the dimensions of the pit or keyhole after boiling.

thanks!

Re: how to model boiling process

you need to use a udf to model mass and heat transfer. Look for tutorials: hfilm and boil. There are two examples.
