Autosave feature going haywire.

Hi all again,

I'm having a problem when I try to autosave my vof simulation every 100 iters or so. I leave the simulation running and when i come back the whole screen including the monitor windows are flashing white repeatedly. I can get out of this by pressing ctrl-alt-del which i don't know why, but helps to jump this hurdle before completing the writing of the file and moving on to the next time step. It's very frustrating when you leave a simulation running over night and come back the next day and it stuck on anm autosave.

Thanks

Shane

Re: Autosave feature going haywire.

possible reason might be

1. low RAM 2. The directory you have refered is not existing 3. Directory in which you are saving files is read only

I am actually experiencing the same problem. I have no other programs open during simulation but for no reason the windows for Fluent just flickers until I e.g. clicks on one of the windows.

Did any of the suggestion from sam solve the problem for you?

Regards, PAD
