Vapour formation with heat and mass transfer
 

Hi all,

Has one simulated the formation of vapour in a forced convection process using a UDF.

Iam not reall sure how to intiate the vapour formation based on temperature using the eulerian model.

Any help in this regard is much appreciated.

I`m trying to do it but I`m using VOF model. There is few udf`s in UDF manual like define_mass_transfer or define_source. You can check it. You need to check if you can use it in Eulerian model (I don`t rememer). Both of this udf`s based on saturation temperature. Check hfilm and boil tutorials. I`m not sure if they are appropiate for forced convection. good luck
