Default gambit: generate mesh from premeshed surfaces

Hi!

I have a brick volume, that is premeshed on its 6 surfaces. On the 4 shell surfaces (the sides), the mesh has quad elements, the two opposite other surfaces (top and bottom) are meshed with tri elements (the same pattern).

Now, I want gambit to extent the tri elements from the top/bottom surface, forming in the volume wedge elements. The wedge elements should be build with help of the quad elements on the 4 sides.

This is like the copper scheme works, but I what it mannually.

How to to that???

Ralf

I think the problem is that the tri mesh is not the same on both sides ( even when you set the same parameters ). mesh just one side and cooper it - should be no problem if you have map on the side faces.
