Hi all;

Suppose in my problem there is a wall with zero thickness and this wall places between two fluid zones . My question is this from you: How to set wall heat flux for this case(since inlet heat flux to wall is equal with outlet heat flux from wall)?

Thanks.

Hello,

Just define the wall thickness and the material in the boundary conditions panel. Also make sure that `coupled' option is selected. FLUENT will compute the heat flow through the wall. You can then plot the heat flux on the wall zone and its shadow. You will find that the two fluxes are equal in magnitude and opposite in sign.
