file auto-save overwrite-existing-files n file auto-save case-frequency 10 file auto-save data-frequency 10 file auto-save root-name "caseName"

this is what I use and it works fine. Try it.

like force monitors. i want to monitor the velcity at differnet points in my domain.if you go solve->monitors->surface-> it will open one window in that you can monitor any parameter which you want. Here i am monitoring the streamwise velocity for every time step. i think u understand what i am saying.

Hi.

maybe you can use this if I don't misunderstand what you wrote.

solve mon surf set [monitorname] vel-mag [surfacenames] () no no yes [filename] "Area-Weighted Average"

hope it helps.
