Extracting 2d geometry from 3d in Gambit

Hi

I need to extract a 2D slice from a complex 3D geometry in Gambit. Any tips on the best way to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

cut your 3d-geometry with a plane (surface). The section will be your slice. Then delete all the volumes, BUT check that "lower Geometry" is NOT enabled. Then delete all the faces except your slice. That's it!

Thanks mAx,

I tried this several times before asking the question but without success, however after persevering it appears to have worked!

Thanks again,

Mike
