Default initalizing error

hi all, i am getting error when i am initializing my inlet velocity value the error : invalid flonum error object:nanq can anybody expalin me why it is comming and how i can rectify this error

This is typically related to a poor mech. Do Grid->Check to see if there are any errors.

If that's not the problem, post more details of your setup.

hi i have done the grid check but i did not get any problem with that.my grid details are min Volumeis 2.77e-11 and maximum volume 2.407e-9 and total volume 3.35e-4 min face area is 8.8e-8 and max. face area 3.55e-6 aspect ratio is 1 to 20 equi skew size is 0 to 1 hope this information will help u to find out the error in my grid

equi skew of 1 will cause the problem... go back to Gambit (or whatever meshing software you used) and double check the equi skew there. The lower the better, but I don't remember being able to run a mesh with a skew higher than .97 (when I mesh with tet, my goal is typically .8 maximum and I'm willing to accept a few cells around .92 to .95 depending on where in the model they occur... if it's an area of high gradient, then I won't accept it, but if it's in a region of separated flow or away from the geometry of interest, then I accept it).
