I am trying to put contaminant emission source in my Fluent model. The only way I found is to put a wall as a small box in the model and put species mass fraction as a boundary condition on the wall. I doubt that this mass fraction can represent a emission source which has an unit of [mass/time] (i.e. kg/s). Can anyone tell me how I can put contaminant emission source as unit of mass per time in the Fluent? Thanks

I also face the same problem, how can I define boundary conditions of emission source? I simulating kitchen environment, in this, I want to define cookstove as an emission source. I have put cookstove as velocity inlet and give CO volume fraction as emission but the solution did not converge.

Pls give your suggestion.

Thanks in advance.
