I would appreciate if the following can be figured out for lnamd64 fluent 6.2 installation on fc4 64 bit.
------------------------------------------------------------- [root@localhost ~]# /usr/Fluent.Inc/bin/fluent & [1] 3079 [root@localhost ~]# /usr/Fluent.Inc/fluent6.2.16/cortex/lnamd64/cortex.3.6.6 -f fluent (fluent " -path/usr/Fluent.Inc") /usr/Fluent.Inc/fluent6.2.16/cortex/lnamd64/cortex.3.6.6: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/Fluent.Inc/lib/lnamd64/libhoops920.so: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied ------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks in advance. saa_pondy. |

The only advice I can give you about Fluent 6.2.16 on Fedora Core 4 for AMD64, is that when I tried it, it didn't work either. I "solved" the problem by just making sure that I installed ALL packages from the FC4 distribution. It means that you end up with loads of stuff you don't want or need, but you do get all the libraries required by Fluent.
