hello, I am trying to solve a 3d problem that include rigid body motion. In my problem, there is a rigid body that move up and down in a cylinder that contains water.

There are two zones, one for the fluid and the other for the solid, in the begining the solid is half outside the water therefore the interface are not completely correspond,

I have udf for the movement, I defined the solid as moving mesh and declare it as rigid body, in addition i choose the deforming zoon for the water. I didnt declare any BC for the walls, I assumed that the dynamic mesh setting is enough(correct me if i am wrong).

My major question is, Would fluent know to change the water zone after the solid zone move up, the water should fill the new void that created ?!, My second problam is that most of my faces are handedness in the late time steps, how can I solve this problam ?

thanks, Benj
