Hi,
I am modelling smoke propagation in a compartment (buoyancy-driven flow. Which would be the right length scale to use for Reynolds and Rayleigh nums calculation? If the room height would be an appropriate choice, I am having both these nums falling in the transition range (Re~2.10^5 and Ra~10^9). So would it be good practice to use the laminar model in Fluent or the turbulence is preferable and which one is suitable? Thanks in advance, kam |
