free stream temperature (boundary conditions)

Hi,

Can somebody help me with the follwoing problem?

In the boundary conditions pannel for the wall-type, you can select convection under thermal conditons and then you can define the free stream temperature. For that temperature I have some experimental data and I would like to import those into fluent, but I don't know how to do it. I was trying to write an UDF for it, but I can't get further anymore.

Thank you!

Hi

Is the temperature at a particular point based on the co-ordinates of the point? If so, you can try writing the UDF by giving in the co-ordinates.

Thanks, Shanti

Hi,

It's just the environmental temperature that's changing. I tried to write an UDF, but I allways get the message ACCES VIOlATION. But thanks for your help anyway!
