unstructured mesh grid independence for Fluent

I have been using Gambit to develop grids of varying coarseness for studies that I am conducting on the wing of an aircraft. I have created the meshes using an unstructured Tet and just specifying the growth rate of the cells off of the surface. I had a professor the other day raise a concern that he thought Fluent had never proved grid independence on their unstructured 3-D meshes. And I had to admit that when I changed my grid to make it finer, there was very little change in the values along the surface of the wing that I was monitoring. I was wondering if anyone else had encountered this problem or had any information about the grid independence of Fluent's unstructured meshes. Thanks

Shane
