periodic boundary
 
when i tried to make periodic boundary rotational for a 30deg sector. it gives error that failed to make periodic . can u help

Not without more information.

Did you link the meshed edges/faces in gambit for peroidicity? Did you define the preodic conditions as rotational in Fluent?

Sorry, can I ask you a quastion. Somebody knows how to use a Periodic BC for a SOLID matirial? If it is possible. Thanks in advance.

Hi

The periodic boundary condition can be handle just arround the Z axis . remember that you must use the wall boundary in gambit. also the number of elements must be equal for hx.
