Default Wall Boundary Flux : positive or negative ?

Hi, Is it correct to state that the face normal A (F_AREA(A,f,tf)) of a boundary face always points outwards of the domain ? Reading the UDF-manual can sometimes be a little confusing. I'm dealing with UDS-scalars, and some values need to cross some boundaries, either inlet or outlet. I assume that it is a question of giving the correct sign to the boundary profile (+ of -) ? Thanks in advance.
