DOME meshing in Gambit

Hi,

I am an undergraduate at University of Manchester, UK and I am trying to produce (with little sucsess)of a basic dome structure in Gambit to export into Fluent.

I want to use quite a generic case at the moment as I will be studing the loading on the dome from the prevailing wind.

Does anyone have any experience with modelling a dome or selecting the correct type of mesh? If so it would be much appriciated as I am new to all of this!!

Many thanks,

Edd

No, I'm talking about a domes structure such as the eden poject or the millenium dome etc.. But most probably on a smaller scale, so for arguments sake something which is 20 or 30m in diameter and 10 or so meters tall.
