Hi everyone,

I want to know and show the part of which the velocity is below certain value in graphics window. I have done the calculation in 3D, so I can know the velocity distribution in the domain. What I want to do is to show the part of below the certain velocity in the graphics window. And I want to calculate the volume ratio of low velocity part to whole apparatus.

Could you tell me how to do this, please?

Thanks, AKR

to visualise the areas with low velocity you can creat isosurfaces ( but every surface with just 1 velocity ). So if you creat for example 10 isosurfaces with lower than certain velocity you can have a look where these areas are. There is also the possibility to mark the areas with lower velocitys in the adapt / iso-value panel but i`m not sure if there is a possibility to calculate the volume ratio out of this (maybe you can seperate your interior with the marked volume but i never tried that).

Thanks, Gernot. Maybe you are right. If I can separate the low velocity zone, I can know which cells have low velocity. And then I can calculate the volume of cells which have low velocity. It will be good!! But I hope there is more simple way to get this. Does anybody know how to do this?

Thanks, AKR
