LES+Discrete phase

any idea on how to use the LES+ discrete phase model? I would like to use LES model in modeling a duct pipe. But I am not sure how to use the discrete phase model in a unsteady flow. I have solved the duct flow from time 0e0 to 4e1 seconds and tried to inject particles from the inlet. But I couldn't use 'display' to track the particles. Any idea on that topic is welcome. Thanks in advance. KK

KK, I am learning to use LES + DPM myself. I noticed that when I do unsteady tracking of particles, FLUENT cannot track the particles at a particular time step. An approach that seem to be more realistic with unsteady tracking is to run your particles at the same time with the fluid. You can try to track the particles with the fluid flow time but give your particle enough time to exit the domain before the flow end time. Once all your particles have exited the domain, you can check how many of those got trapped for the given flow time. I do this in batch mode so that I can get a file saved of all the information. I hope this helps.
