Hi

I want to plot two dimensionless numbers in fluent. these numbers are not defined in fluent, these are my numbers like a temperature ratio and a radius ratio. How can I do that? Do I need to define my ratio somewhere,if yes then where n how??

Cheers!!

Define a custom field function (Define->Custom Field Function)

Best of luck, Jason

if you go custom field functions by fluent tui, you will see there is an option list variables, this will list all the variables you can use in custom field functions, (have you enabled enery eqn, by the way ) )

After you create a custom field function it shows up as a variable in the drop down menus. I.E. instead of selecting an XY plot of Pressure-Static Pressure select an XY Plot of Custom Field Functions-<whatever you named your function>... CFF shows up at the very top of the main variable list, so you may have to scroll up in the drop down box.

Hope this helps, and good luck, Jason
