Axisymmetric Simulations

I use Fluent's Axisymmetric model for modeling a cylindrical converging nozze. I have an inlet where I impose a axial velocity with zero radial velocity.

Does fluent solve for a swirl velocity in a domain>?

Like at the nozzle exit, other than axial and radial velocity ..does a swirl velocity being solved? Will I get a swirl component??

What does Fluent solve for axisymmetric simulations?

Re: Axisymmetric Simulations

Simple Axisymmetric model wont solve for swirl velocity.

"Axisymmetric swirl" option in fluent can be used to solve swirling flows.
