How to calculate particle mass flow rate at outlet

Hello all:

I am simulating particle motion in swirling flows. Can anyone tell me how to calculate the mass flow rate of particles at the outlet of the domain? Thanks.

Randy

You may create a plane at the outlet (Surface>plane). THen, under report>surface integrals, choose mass flow rate for report type and the plane for surface. Hope this helps.

This will not give particle mass (dpm, Lagrangian) mass flow rate, it will show gaseous (Eulerian) mass flow rate
