Default transient mulitple grid

Last question before Chirstmas:

Is it possible to run a transient simulation with a different grid for each time-step? I have a transient rotor/stator calculation and a sliding mesh calculation is impossible because it require too many cells.

I would like to create a transient simulation with different grids for each time-step so that I can resolve the mesh in different areas at different places in physical time. I don't want to get into deformable meshes if possible.

Has anyone had any experience of this and can anyone advise me?

Cheers and happy holidays.
