The Fluent UDF manual 6.2, section 10.5.9, gives a hint that there exist some "storage exchange variables" SV_*. And that they can be exchanged between nodes using the macro named in the subject. What are they, I did not find any other reference in the UDF manual?
Personally, I am looking for a convenient way of loading volumetric data files (serial) at the host and sharing it with all calculation nodes, using parallel UDFs. Is this something that one can accomplish with this macro? I already know that the "usual" way is to transfer value-arrays from host through node_0 to all the others. It would be really kind if somebody could help me out with this. Thank you very much, Bernhard --- freelancer at Arsenal Research, Vienna, Austria |
