Ansys or Fluent

hello everyone How to add an acoustic source of variable frequencies to fluid flow Ansys solve problem of acoustic for stationary fluid Fluent solve problem of acoustic, but does not allow adding an excitation source, it just predict the noise caused by fluid flow my problem is how to include an acoustic source within the fluid flow

best regards

Re: Ansys or Fluent

Hi Sarah,

Acoustic module for Fluent is Ffoct William Hawkin model. You can choose the model from Define/Model/Acoustic but, the simulation should be unsteady problem (the simulation parameter should be satisfied by stability condition) And, the version of Fluent should be 6.1 or newer version. For any question, please feel free to ask me at nantaratn@yahoo.com
