Default Comparing Fluent Time dependent result with Patran

Hi,

I have a model in Fluent with only Conduction and Radiation boundary conditions. I only have solid's in my model.

I run a Steady State simulation with exactly the same boundary conditions in Fluent and MSC Patran/thermal and my results are a perfect match between the two softwares.

However when i run an Unsteady time dependent simuation with exactly the same boundary conditions in Patran and Fluent the results differ to a large extent.

The reason i am comparing fluent with patran is that i go on to include convection and flow in my fluent model at later stage and i want to validate fluent with patran for my probem.

Please let me know your suggestions as to whether it is possible to achieve similar results during unsteady simulations between two softwares.

Thank you,

Venigall
