Hi, I am trying to define a new scalar in my model. But the results are confusing: When I defined the scalar value @ User Defined Scalar Boundary Condition to 50@inlet zone, the modeling result showed that the value of the UDS rise to 1e6@outlet. That doesn't make any sense because I haven't assigned any source term yet. But when I defined the scalar value at the initial panel (from the inlet) , the result seems right. what comes in comes out. the USD value@ outlet =value@inlet. So, we can't define the UDS at the boundary condition panel? Please give me some advice. Thanks a lot!! KK

In defining the the value at the inlet boundary, I use the specified value in the boundary define panel according to the Fluent UDF guild. And the flux function is set to mass flow rate.
