Default GAMBIT 3D Hybrid Mesh Technique Help

Hi all,

I am modelling a 3D case how buoyancy flow occurs along the vertical external wall surface of the building.

Knowing that many factors may affect the convergence, I wonder if the quality of the mesh affects it seriously. My previous mesh was generated from GAMBIT with size function, Tet/Hybrid elements with TGrid Scheme (just like the Sedan case in GAMBIT tutorial). But I only find tetrahedral elements along the surface of the wall. Thus the result is not good (y+ checked).

Can anyone suggest me the procedure how to construct the mesh, so that fine HEXAGEDRAL elememts can be found just near the wall surface, with the remain coarse elements in tha air computing domain.

Thz a lot
