hi I am modeling a pulse tube refrigerator.it is a 2d axisymetric unsteady problem. i am using around 3000 cell .i am using a UDF for dynamic mesh motion of the piston . it is working properly. my time step is very low i.e .0073529. so i am taking only one iteration for time step as it it is taking much time.but my problem is
Sometimes, I get the FLUENT NOT RESPONDING messsage, I waited for some time, and still the same message existed. So I closed it down. Yet, at other times (while running the same case), it just disappears without any iteration. What may the problem ? please reply ammi |

hi i m also doing the exact problem with slight modification.i hv nt experienced this problem may be its your software problem. i wanted to ask you some doubts regarding pulse tube.
