Hi all,

I have 2 questions

1) I have written multiple UDF's to describe material parameters. When i interpreted these UDF's they work just fine, individually. But I don't seem to be able to use multiple interpreted UDF's in 1 case file. Is this correct?

2) I tried to compile the udf's but that leads to this error:

Done.

A Similar error is discussed in the thread http://www.cfd-online.com/Forum/flue...cgi/read/27762. One of the reactions reffers to a document I unfortunately can't open, because I'm a student and have no log in. What do I need to do to be able to compile my UDF's?

first , make sure you have a C++ complier installed. Then, use DOS 'path' command to point to the directory in which the nmake is in.

I have the same problem with 'nmake'. Would you please tell me how I can install C++ compiler? Doesn't it come with fluent? How I can find it. I am a student working on surface reactions, and I have to compile my udf.

I am using microsoft's VC++ express. it is a freeware. you can download it in microsoft's website.
