Hi all,

I enable the non-premixed combustion model in Species Model panel. After I click Apply, Select File dialog box appear prompting me for the name of the PDF file containing the look-up tables created in prePDF.

What is happening? What is look-up table? Where can I found prePDF file?

Thanks

prePDF is a file created using the prePDF module of Fluent software, to handle turbulent chemistry interaction.

prePDF is a lookup table consisting of mean mixture fraction, mixture fraction varience & enthalpy. This lookup table is used by the solver to determine species mole fraction, density, temperature during reaction.

Go throught the Fluent user guide for more details.
