Drop in water

I need to simulate a free falling drop in water reservoir.

Also, during journey water drop is heating from 278k to 300 K.

Stationary water is at 273K.

Half glass of water is a required initial condition. Glass shape is cylindrical.

Any suggestion from Gambit mesh making to Fluent post processing is helpful.

Re: Drop in water

Hi,

Iam not really sure how your are modelling it.

For a starter you can do it as a 2D. Understand the problem better and then jump to 3d.

What is the temperature of the air on top of stagnant water.

You can define all these condiions using Fluent.

Are you just doing a study on the process or trying to improve something here.

This transient simulation is interesting.
