Default Saving velocity contours to a text file

This should be an easy one. I can't seem to save a contour plot of velocity to a text file for later use in Tecplot.

When I go to the menu Display/Contours there is no Write option

When I save velocity data on a plane using XY Plot, the text file only has two columns. I need the text file to have three columns: x, y,and Velocity Magnitude.

When I use File/Write/Profile: The output data is not accepted by Tecplot

Thanks for the help

Craig

choose File-> export... select the format data you want to save.
