Perhaps a stupid question...

Hi, I´m trying to simulate an internal flow. Basicaly the problem consists in a pipe with a moving valve in the middle. The data that they gave me is that the fluid (nitric acid) is at pressure of 30 bars. They want to know at wich angle of the valve the fluid will have a certain mass flow (kg/sec). So here´s the question. Those 30 bars are for the operating pressure?

Then, for the turbulence inputs, the hydraulic diameter is equal to the pipe diameter, right?

I hope I was clear!

Thanks in advance.
